Andrew Wilson and Gavin McWilliam fly back to Singapore later this year to take part in the Singapore Garden Festival 2016 where they hope to replicate the success of their 2014 garden which won gold and best in show. Their design for this year’s festival explores the concept of silence – an increasingly valuable experience or state of mind in a world full of noise, sound or sensory overload.

The garden titled 'The Living Legacy Garden' Marks the 200th anniversary of Wellington’s victory at the Battle of Waterloo and Wellington’s College’s role as his living legacy. sponsored by Darwin Property Investment Management. The concept of the Sacred Grove lies at the core of our design, the universal concept of a space that is both spiritual and reflective explored through the conjugation of simple elements composed to create focus and meaning. The garden is being built in the Gardens by the Bay as part of the Singapore Garden Festival 2014

What a night! Our Hertfordshire garden scooped 3 awards at the SGD awards 2013 on Friday evening; including best large residential garden, The Homes and Gardens peoples choice award and the grand prize of the evening. More information can be found on the SGD page including the judges comments.
Andrew is thrilled to be judging for the Garden Media Guild Awards 2013. This is his second year as a judge although he's involved with a different category - Garden Writer of the Year. The opportunity to read such a wide range of submissions and to see the breadth of approach has been a challenge but also a delight. Good quality, thought provoking and informative writing is alive and well with many writers managing to amuse and enthral. The awards ceremony is on Wednesday 27th November this year when all will be revealed.
Wilson McWilliam Studio are delighted to have been shortlistedas finalists in 3 separate categories in the SGD Awards 2013. Judging is in January next year.
