Rose Garden Talk

Andrew Wilson, a Fellow and former Chairman of the Society of Garden Designers, will be delivering a short talk at The RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show as part of a shared RHS/SGD platform. Andrew’s talk will shed light on the story of the New Rose Garden at Savill Gardens, part of The Royal Landscape. The garden, designed by WM Studio, was opened by HM The Queen in June 2010 as a new and progressive rose garden with roses selected for their intensity of colour and perfume and for their repeat flowering capabilities. Andrew will talk about the design concepts and the success of the garden in this its second year of flowering, a spectacular burst of colour from almost 3000 mass planted roses. Catch the talk at 12.30pm in the Rose Marquee, Saturday July 9 2011
